Girls Can Tell
Girls Can Tell is the third studio album by Austin, Texas indie rock band Spoon. It was released on February 20, 2001.
The track "Me and the Bean" is a cover of a mid-90's Austin, Texas band called The Sidehackers. The songwriter of The Sidehackers, John Clayton, appears on Kill the Moonlight, contributing bass to the album.
Girls Can Tell, as of December 2009, has sold slightly less than 100,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
Reception
Online music magazine Pitchfork Media placed Girls Can Tell at number 96 on their list of top 200 albums of the 2000s.[6]
